In 2019 Georgian Bay Great Lakes Foundation is assisting for the first time teams of researchers from Environment Canada.

In May, Mary Muter, Chair, of the Georgian Bay Great Lakes Foundation provided accommodation at her island cottage and some guiding for a team of 10 researchers from Environment Canada’s Great Lakes Wetland Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment.

Later in the summer, a Quebec-based team from Environment Canada’s Canadian Hydrological Services Great Lakes Wetland Assessment will be similarly assisted by Mary Muter.
